Useful advice, with the reasoning left in.
What our recommendations mean, how we use sources, and where we draw the line.
Start with the situation
We begin with a real selection problem, not a list of products to sell. A good guide should help you understand who a type of product suits, what it changes, what it cannot solve, and which measurements or compatibility checks belong before checkout. We aim to give you enough context to decide that you do not need to buy anything at all.
Sources before certainty
We prioritize manufacturer manuals, connector and mounting standards, operating-system documentation, and reputable workplace guidance. Sources appear in each article. We distinguish a general principle from a model-specific requirement, especially where charging, external displays, load limits, and mounting surfaces are involved.
Specifications can change. A publication date indicates when a guide was prepared; it does not promise continuous monitoring. Your device manual, current product listing, and local requirements take precedence over a general guide.
No invented testing
Our initial library consists of research-based buying guides, comparisons, and practical planning articles. We do not present these as hands-on reviews. Scenario-based picks describe product types worth comparing, with their limitations, rather than laboratory winners.
Editorial photographs illustrate a workspace or equipment category. They do not establish that the photographed item is a recommendation, that we own it, or that we have tested it. When a future article includes first-hand testing, its author, method, equipment, and limitations should be stated in that article.
AI assistance and editorial responsibility
AI tools may support drafting, organization, and checking. Any such assistance does not justify fabricated experience, quotations, product specifications, or research results. Readers should be able to follow the sources and understand the basis of the advice regardless of the tools used to prepare it.
Commercial relationships
Shopping links are separated from the reasoning behind a recommendation. If a link is an affiliate link, a qualifying purchase may earn a commission. Sponsored content, supplied products, or other material relationships should be disclosed where relevant. We do not sell rankings or describe paid placement as independent testing. See our Affiliate Disclosure for more detail.
