Information you choose to send

The website does not require an account and does not provide a checkout. If you email us, we receive your email address and the information in your message. We use that information to respond, investigate a reported issue, and maintain relevant correspondence. Avoid sending sensitive personal, financial, or health information.

We retain correspondence only as reasonably needed for those purposes or applicable obligations. You can request access, correction, or deletion of information you have sent, subject to any legal need to retain it.

Saved guides and appearance settings

Your saved-article list and chosen light or dark appearance are stored in your browser's local storage. These values are used on your device and are not submitted to a Desk & Kit account or database. Clearing site data in your browser removes them. Saved lists do not synchronize across devices.

Search filtering takes place in your browser. A search submitted through a search URL may appear in your browser history and ordinary hosting request logs.

Hosting and technical information

The site is intended to be hosted on Cloudflare. Serving a page may involve processing technical request data such as IP addresses, browser information, requested URLs, and security signals under the host's applicable practices. We do not currently include a third-party analytics script, advertising pixel, or embedded social-media widget in the site.

Editorial images are served from the same site rather than fetched from a third-party image host during normal page viewing. We do not sell personal information collected through the site.

External and affiliate links

Clicking a retailer or source link takes you to a separate service. That service may use cookies or other identifiers according to its own policy. If an approved affiliate link is used, its destination or tracking provider may process click and purchase-attribution information. Review the destination's policy before sharing information or making a purchase.

Your choices and policy changes

You can clear local site data, choose not to use retailer links, and email us about information you have provided. Depending on your location, you may have additional rights under applicable privacy law. The site is intended for a general adult audience and does not knowingly solicit personal information from children under 13.

If the site introduces analytics, forms, accounts, or other material changes to data handling, this policy should be updated before those features are enabled. The effective date above identifies this version.
